Oh don’t you just love October? The only thing I love more is September. Here’s a little piece of French fall in all its glory.
Just over the Pont Pinard, that famous Semur landmark and site of my recent joy attacks, sits this amazing maison that apparently dates back to the middle ages. It’s an incredible building and here’s the real kicker, right now it’s for sale. The list price is 179,000 euros, not a bad deal at all for this part of France but unless they drop the price a bit, say down to $1.79, I’m out. Of course there’s another reason I’m out.
I wouldn’t even fit through the front door.
I check everyday for your pictures of the french life. Please tell me you have a “coffee table” book of pics in the works. I just finished Lunch in Paris, by Elizabeth Bard. (Amy loaned it to me) I really think you would like it. I did. And I don’t even get to live in France….yet.
I think Neil should do a picture book, he’s mentioned it before so I’ll have to nag him into it…
Oh, my. Such beauty. Yes, the house AND you. I just have one question. Is that blood on the steps?
Aha! No I think it’s leaf debris, blood would be more interesting though…
if it was blood, you probably could get a deal
No they’re right medieval here, blood is extra.
Hilarious!
Gorgeous all around. What a heavenly place, this land of yours, Miss Bobbi. Between the views and all those chocolate croissants …
Even the ‘bad’ parts are pretty good I’d say.
Gorgeous pics. Thanks.
Yes, Neil should do a photo book.
Happy Thanksgiving and Good Luck with YOUR book.
Oh swoon! The building is lovely, but you make the scene perfect. I love that jacket!
You look like Alice in Wonderland in that doorway. (Only hotter, and with better taste in clothing.)
Happy Turkey Day, Bobbi. Or do they have a Turkey Day in France? Or is it Pheasant Day, or maybe just Eclair Day?
Anyway, gorgeous pictures once again. The ivy turning red is beautiful.
No Thanksgiving over here. Every day is eclair day :)
Okay it’s official, the Finders are the world’s most positive blog followers.
Oh, I just love Autumn. <3 :)
And look at you, hun! You look simply stunning.
Simply huge …
